Southwark Council is preparing to commission a new provider to coordinate the Southwark Culture Health and Wellbeing Partnership (SCHWeP) and provide operational support for the Creative Health Southwark programme, for a three-year contract starting in October 2025. The paid role of the provider will be open to individuals, a group of individuals or organisations.
Over the past five years, SCHWeP has grown into a cross-sector, independent network of over 250 creative and cultural providers and stakeholders, working to tackle health inequalities through strengthening the Creative Health sector in Southwark. The network has supported local capacity building, delivered a range of creative health projects, and helped position Southwark as a leading borough in this field.
As part of the commissioning process, the council is hosting two market engagement events to gather feedback on the draft service specification and Theory of Change.
These events are an opportunity to:
• Help refine the scope of work and the expected outcomes/ deliverables
• Express interest in applying for the role of provider
• Learn more about the upcoming application process
• Share your insights and experiences
• Contribute to the future of Creative Health in Southwark
Event Details:
• Friday 8th August, 10:00am – 11:30am (online via MS Teams)
• Wednesday 13th August 13:00pm – 15:00pm (Tooley Street)
