A Funding Working Group to bring together funders and VCS groups to implement the State of the Sector funding principles around unrestricted, multi-year funding with easier applications and monitoring, and more open and transparent decisions. 19 of the borough’s top 23 funders have signed up.

Further informationA role, funded by United St Saviour’s and Southwark Council Planning and Property department, started in January 2024, with the aim of improving access to affordable and accessible space for the VCS. It has gathered and matched requests for space with existing premises and is working to influence the policies of the council and other landowners.
