About DK Legal
David Kirby founded DK Legal in 2016 and has more than fifteen years’ experience as a solicitor in the charity and not for profit sector. He qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and soon after joined the Charity Commission as a legal advisor. He then moved to a major UK charity where he worked as Head of Governance & Legal. David founded DK Legal with the aim of providing charities and other not-for-profit organisations with access to high quality, specialist legal advice at affordable fees.
David works with a range of different charities, with a particular focus on serving smaller, local organisations. David grew up locally (in Kingston) and has served on the boards of various charities, currently acting as a trustee of Links International.
