WHO WE ARE
We are the umbrella body for the voluntary and community sector in Southwark. We support charities, community groups and individuals through capacity building, networks and training.

Warm Spaces in Southwark

Warm spaces in Southwark

Visit any of these organisations below to take part in free activities, or just pop in for a tea and chat!

All of these spaces are open for you to come in and keep warm this winter. In many places you can take part in free activities such as bingo, creative writing, or meditation, and some will provide free refreshments or lunch (adults only).

Alongside their usual opening hours and services, libraries across the borough will also be running weekly drop-in sessions with free hot drinks and refreshments (open to all).

All libraries have desk space, comfy places to sit, and you can stay for as long as you need to, with larger libraries open all day. Other things that libraries are offering to assist residents with the cost of living:

You can use the map below to find a local warm space, or there’s a table listing activities below. You can also download a list with full details of activities and timings.

If you have any difficulties using this page please let us know via email at info@communitysouthwark.org, or call us on 0203 848 6540.
