Our 2023 State of the Sector report made it clear that one of the biggest issues for the voluntary and community sector in Southwark is access to affordable and suitable premises.
To help address this, we have created a new role – the Premises and Policy Officer – who will be working to match groups with available space, and liaising with stakeholders such as the council and local businesses to widen access and create more opportunities.
To do this effectively, we want to collect as much information as we can about the scale of need, and the range of options currently available.
Please use the forms below to let us know what you are looking for, or what you can offer, and we will use this to make matches and set up introductions where possible.
Please note that using this form does not guarantee that we will be able to find you a space, or a tenant. This is the start of our work on this, so it may take some time before we are able to provide you with any matches.
Looking for Space
If you are a group looking for space to carry out your activities – whether that is a long-term office lease, regular hall bookings for activities or a one-off event – please let us know here.
This is open to all types of VCS (voluntary and community sector) groups, including charities, CICs and more.
You will need to be a Community Southwark member to submit the form, and you can sign up for free via our website.
Offering Space
If you have any spaces available in your buildings – whether that’s spare desks, event spaces or extra storage – please let us know here.
This form is intended for long term or occasional offers. If you regularly hire spaces out, you can add your spaces to our Venues Directory below.
