Cambridge House has a vision of a society without poverty where all people are valued, treated equally, and lead fulfilling and productive lives. They are currently seeking a Deputy Head of Service to become an integral part of the Safer Renting Team at Cambridge House.
Safer Renting fights to strengthen the rights and provide access to justice for people exploited by criminal landlords. We aim to make private renting safe for all.
As a vital member of the Safer Renting Team, under the guidance of our Head of Service, your role will encompass the following key responsibilities:
i) Deputises for the Head of Service in all matters as necessary.
ii) Manages the casework operations including line management of team leaders.
iii) Supervises the team’s Project Manager.
iv) Supports the Head of Service and staff in the management of administrative functions and case management records.
v) Works with the Head of Service on contract management of partner boroughs and funders,
vi) Is responsible for monitoring quality assurance, data quality and compliances, and work to maintain our accreditation standard and continuous improvement objective.
vii) Oversees the service user feedback and evaluation system and reports on lessons are learned.
viii) Works with the Head of Service on developing and maintaining the team’s business planning, budgeting and financial monitoring.
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid – Cambridge House offices and home working
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working hours: 35 (FT) hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Holiday: 30 days per annum pro rata
Special conditions: – Enhanced DBS check & Occasional evening and weekend work
