We’re celebrating #2022VolunteersWeek! Tina is a volunteer for Age UK Lewisham & Southwark’s Healthy Living and Learning Centre.
“Since Tina came to us at the Healthy Living and Learning Centre, she has stood out as a both a bright bright light at Age UK Lewisham and Southwark, in her local community and has made such a difference to so MANY people’s lives.
She is hard working, kind, generous and thoughtful. Despite only volunteering with Age UK Lewisham and Southwark for just over a year Tina has carried out a variety of different roles.
She has worked tirelessly to transform our rather large communal yet untidy garden into a more pleasant space for our members to use and has gone out of her way to support and mentor other members.
Her attitude is exemplary and no task is ever beyond her. She’s also extremely giving towards everyone and her generosity and kindness of spirit has blessed so many people.
She is literally the best of humanity!”
