Tabard Gardens Community Allotments is a community project which brings a green space to SE1.

Community Southwark is advertising this opportunity on behalf of Tabard Gardens Community Allotment.

The second phase of our project to build accessible paths designed by Hayley Herridge, is due to start in November. We are very fortunate and excited that an Hampton Court award winning designer has generously offered her services. Once the paths are built. We will need some help bringing Hayley’s planting vision to reality.

Expected tasks: Building two mounds, planting beds, planters and expanding meadow.

Location: Tabard Gardens Allotment, opposite SE1 4DL

Date & Time: End of November or first week of December, for two days. 10am – 4pm. Exact dates are flexible.

Day 1 – build mounds, fill and plant 3 planters to the front entrance

Day 2 – planting beds, planters and expanding the meadow area.

What to bring: suitable shoes and gloves. Latter can be provided.
