Waterloo Community Counselling (WCC) are running a summer guided walks project: Building community resilience among local refugees in partnership with Lambeth Tour Guides Association (LTGA).
Waterloo Community Counselling (https://waterloocc.co.uk/) is a charity providing counselling and group support to people living in London. They offer low cost counselling as well as multilingual counselling for refugees and asylum-seekers at no cost.
This new project which will run between May – September 2025 will involve 6 walking group outings facilitated by an experienced tour guide from LTGA. Each walk will have a different theme and focus, and will take the group on a different route in and around the North Lambeth area. The project is open to refugee, asylum-seekers and migrants who are above the age of 18.

This project is generously funded by the London Eye Community Chest grant in partnership with Lambeth Council and supported by South Bank & Waterloo Neighbours. As such, WCC are primarily inviting participants who live, work or study in the Waterloo and South Bank area.
WCC are hoping to get the group together in advance of our first meeting in May. Participants are encouraged to contact info@waterloocc.co.uk where they will be supported in getting registered on to the project in advance of the first outing.
