Call out to community organisations in Southwark who work with young people and families. You can refer young people and families to ‘Family First Nights’ – a summer holiday theatre-going programme run by Go Live Theatre Projects.
Go Live Theatre Projects are looking for organisations working with young people and families to take part in our Family First Nights programme, which celebrates its 25th anniversary next year!
Family First Nights is our summer holiday theatre-going programme exclusively for low-income families who have been identified and referred to us through partner organisations. We welcome 300 new families each year to attend the theatre for £8 per ticket, creating special memories for families who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford to attend the theatre.
How it works:
1. Organisations sign up and attend an information event in May 2024 which explains how the programme works, including the application process for families.
2. Organisations identify and refer families who’ve never been to the theatre as a family before and fill out an application with them.
3. Organisations and families are notified which show they are going to see, based on the show and date preferences from their application.
4. Families pay for their tickets and attend the show!
We provide support throughout the process to ensure families have the best experience possible, including phone calls to ensure they’ve received their tickets and answer any questions they may have.
We only have a limited number of spaces to be part of this incredible programme. If you’d like to sign up as a referral organisation, please fill in the form at the bottom of this page
