Spring into Volunteering Fair – A great turnout!

An exciting day full of opportunities to volunteer with amazing local voluntary and community groups.

Our Volunteer Fair was a huge success!

“It was a good event, please organise more. I don’t have family in London and I’m free on weekends but I don’t know where to start. I spoke to a lot different organisations now I just need to choose one. Thank you for organising.” [attendee]

A huge thank you to Mercato Metropolitano for hosting ‘Spring into Volunteering.

Despite the rain we had over 100 people attend the fair to find local volunteering opportunities in Southwark. They met around 35 voluntary and community groups – from supporting children and young people, families, and older people to food initiatives and creative projects. There was something for everyone.
