Session 1 – Introduction to Social Investment – Luke Kavanagh, Trust for London
- Social investment can be a great tool for an organisation looking to develop capacity in key areas, take on new assets, or win new contracts and business
- Loans are provided at a below-market rate, and do not have to be secured against assets or equity in your organisation
- However, groups do need to have a clear income generation plan and a supportive board and team
- Additional support to become social investment ready is available through Reach Fund grants – contact Trust for London for more information

- Again, groups should have a clear income generation model and realistic timeframes and targets
