If you are regularly making use of data in your everyday work at a small charity or community organisation Superhighways want to hear from you! They can offer a small amount of funding to cover your time.
Superhighways and the Datawise London partnership are interested in ‘data journeys’: the ways in which people in small charities, community organisations and infrastructure organisations start to engage with and explore data.
This may be data that you collect yourselves, or external data that help you run your activities, plan ahead, evidence need or influence change.
They’d love to know more about your motivations for using and working with data. As well as the challenges that may have shaped your personal learning.
Peer learning research workshops
You can book on one of two workshops with your peers this September. There are a few spots left on each.
13th September, 1pm to 2.30pm on Zoom
23rd September, 9.30am to 11am on Zoom
Your organisation can claim £75 for participating to help cover your time.
Am I eligible?
You do not need to be an expert, such as an analyst or data scientist. However, it’s not suitable for staff that have little or no experience of working with data.
Your organisation will also have an income of under £1 million, unless you are holding funds for other organisations e.g. to make grants or as the lead organisation for commissioning.
How will the information be used?
The information gathered will be visualised, reported and shared with infrastructure bodies, funders and anyone with an interest in helping small organisations best use data to develop their activities to meet the needs of Londoners.
I can’t make the workshop: can I still take part?
There are two interview places available this September. You can book a calendar appointment with research lead Nissa Ramsay at Think Social Tech on the Data Journeys webpage.
