Free online YoungMinds Information Session on Thursday, May 16th at 1:00 PM- 2 PM – run by Voice4Change England.
This session is designed to raise awareness about the work of YoungMinds, a leading national charity in the UK committed to improving the mental health of young people and their families. The focus of the session is particularly on their Parental Helpline, a service for parents and carers who are concerned about a child’s mental health.
Here are some of the things you will learn about in the session:
- The services that YoungMinds offers to parents, carers, and organizations coping with children and young people’s mental health challenges
- The most common concerns that parents reach out to the Parental Helpline about
- The process of contacting the Parental Helpline and how they can help
- How YoungMinds breaks down barriers to make their services accessible to BME parents and parents with sensory impairments
- There will also be a Q&A time at the end of the session.
If you are a parent, carer, professional, or charity working with families, particularly those from underrepresented communities, we encourage you to attend.
