Southwark Council are planning a service user and carer event on the proposed older people and disabled persons Hubs between 1-3pm on Tuesday 22nd January at Beormund Community Centre, 177 Abbey Street, SE1 2AN.
Council officials look forward to speaking with residents, providing an update on the developing work, and hearing ideas and experience from local people.
The session will cover a number of topics including:
- The work so far
- Future ideas and plans
- Communications- how people feel about the word ‘hubs’?
- When the hubs are live, how can information be shared so that resident know how to access advice/support?
All residents are welcome whether they self-identify as being older, disabled, a carer, or any combination!
