We're looking for an Engagement Officer

Role: Engagement Officer
Contract: Fixed term until April 2022
Salary: Up to £28,771, dependent on experience, per annum
Report to: Director of Development and Partnerships

Community Southwark (CS) is the main provider of support to the voluntary and community sector in Southwark. We are looking someone who is passionate about social action and has experience of facilitating and delivering networks within the local community.

You will lead on a new and exciting project, funded by the National Lottery, which aims to increase people’s social connections and health and wellbeing in several wards in Nunhead and Camberwell.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to get out into the community, identify community activists and bring groups together to develop projects that improve the social connections and wellbeing of local people.

The role includes attending outreach events and other networks to keep informed about the challenges in different communities and raise Community Southwark’s profile. This will involve regular evening and weekend work.
