Do you have a project that can reduce carbon emissions or tackle fuel poverty, but needs some funding to help make it a reality?

After the success of the first round of Southwark Community Energy Fund (SCEF), Southwark Council is opening a second round, with £400,000 available to grant to local energy projects.

This fund gives grants to local schools, faith groups and community groups for green energy projects. These projects will reduce carbon emissions or save energy. This could be through building upgrades or green technology like solar panels or heat pumps. It could also be for workshops or training to help tackle fuel poverty. The fund is intended for community buildings and is not available for private residential properties.

The application window will close on 6 April 2025.
