One Hub is a new digital platform form which young people and families can find easy to navigate, up-to-date information about what youth related activities and services are available in their local area.
As part of Southwark Council’s Youth New Deal – which aims to support young people to have positive lives now and in the future – the team have developed a new digital information hub called One Hub where young people and families will find comprehensive, easy to navigate and up-to-date information about what youth related activities and services are available in their local area.
The website has been developed with input from and tested by young people throughout. This platform has been designed especially with mobile phones in mind as this is the device type most young people have access to.
Please join this great initiative and promote your activities, events and services via this new platform. You can:
- add one off events and/or activities
- add recurring events and/or activities
- list your organisation in the list of youth providers section.
Uploading information is easy, free of charge and you don’t need to create an account or password, just follow this link. By uploading your activities information it will automatically show on both the new youth OneHub and Southwark Presents which is another portal some of you might already be using. So you only have to do one form and you will be featured in both portals.
The council will heavily promote this new website over the coming weeks via targeted social media campaigns, schools and other channels so make sure your activities are included to benefit from the exposure! Please feel free to pass this onto any other organisations who you think might find it of benefit.
