Vacancy at Southwark Law Centre: Administrator, full time, 35hrs p/wk Permanent


35 Hours per week/Permanent

Salary: £26,625 – £27,957 NJC Scale pts 6-9

Southwark Law Centre is seeking to recruit an experienced administrator based at our busy office in Peckham.

You will work as part of the admin team supporting caseworkers who provide specialist advice in housing, immigration, welfare benefits, employment and public law.

You will need to demonstrate the following key skills and abilities.

• Experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment
• Strong IT skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate sensitively to a wide cross section of the public and other agencies.
• Good numeracy skills
• Ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles, and policies of Southwark Law Centre

You will need an understanding of the community served by the Law Centre. The ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate initiative are essential. This role would be ideal for someone interested in developing a career within the charity sector and office administration.
