Sign your organisation up now for Community Southwark Volunteer – a new platform for recruiting volunteers in Southwark!
Recruiting volunteers is always a challenge for VCS groups, and our goal is to simplify the process for our members. We’ve listened to feedback from organisations and volunteers who want a more accessible platform with greater control over the volunteer recruitment process.
Last year, 468 new volunteers registered to our volunteering database, but we can do better! Introducing Community Southwark Volunteer, a new platform to advertise and manage volunteer roles, powered by TeamKinetic’s cutting-edge software.
Community Southwark Volunteer will give you the options to:
- create attractive volunteer adverts and events which you can manage yourself
- create a homepage for your organisation to showcase your mission and volunteering opportunities
- Get statistics on how many volunteers are interested in your role
- Have volunteers apply through the platform
- Have the option to manage volunteers through the platform
- The option to advertise corporate volunteering activities
- Print off volunteering roles to share with your community
How do I sign up?
Community Southwark Volunteer will go live to the public (volunteers) on the 30th of September and our current volunteering database will be taken offline.
- You will need to register for the new Community Southwark Volunteering database by the 30th of September.
- Get help registering with the new system
- Register by visiting volunteer.communitysouthwark.org and clicking ‘Need volunteers? Add your opportunity’ (the button below)
- When you are registered, your organisation and volunteering roles will need to be approved. We aim to do this within space of a week, but likely much quicker.
- There is no need to let us know you have signed up as we can see this in our system. Your volunteering adverts can be on both databases until the current database closes. If you have a new volunteer role, we recommend signing up to the new database unless it is a role you need to fill before 30th of September
