International Day for Older People Celebration and Information event – FREE

It is a day to celebrate being mature and discover what has been happening in Southwark for over 50s. We want people to come along and have some fun, watch some of the performances, be brave and have a go on the open mike if you can sing us a song, read a poem, tell us a story about days gone by, or even tell us some jokes and do a comedy sketch. Showcase your talent, and let’s all have a wonderful day. So many have said that they would like to have more activities but don’t know where to go, so come along and meet with some of our great voluntary and community organisations and find out what they do and where they are. Something for everyone. Come with old friends and make new friends. Let us entertain you on Saturday, 30 September, from midday – 4 pm at Mountview Academy, Peckham Square SE15
