Black Food Fund
This is a new community-based committee in Lambeth and Southwark formed to distribute grant funding to black food initiatives in Lambeth and Southwark to improve health and food equity in Lambeth and Southwark.
Partnership: Shift, Hello Brave, Impact on Urban Health
Committee members are now being recruited to support the grant-making. These positions are paid at £500 per day with an estimated remuneration of £15,000 over 2 years.
Applicants must live and/or work in Southwark or Lambeth and have a passion for improving health and well-being through food, wish to address inequality and drive social change, and have lived or professional experience of at least one of the following: the local food system in Lambeth or Southwark, work with black families living in Lambeth or Southwark, black food cultures/communities/systems.
