Improve the Health of Black Families in Southwark through Food

A new community-based committee in Lambeth and Southwark formed to distribute grant funding to black food initiatives in Lambeth and Southwark to improve health and food equity in Lambeth and Southwark is now recruiting committee members.

This is a new community-based committee in Lambeth and Southwark formed to distribute grant funding to black food initiatives in Lambeth and Southwark to improve health and food equity in Lambeth and Southwark.

Partnership: Shift, Hello Brave, Impact on Urban Health

Committee members are now being recruited to support the grant-making. These positions are paid at £500 per day with an estimated remuneration of £15,000 over 2 years.

Applicants must live and/or work in Southwark or Lambeth and have a passion for improving health and well-being through food, wish to address inequality and drive social change, and have lived or professional experience of at least one of the following: the local food system in Lambeth or Southwark, work with black families living in Lambeth or Southwark, black food cultures/communities/systems.
