Hands-on Funding Support for Charities in Southwark – express your interest now!

We brought together funders and VCS groups to have a round table discussion on how we can address challenges raised in our State of the Sector report.

You must be a registered charity and available to attend the workshop in-person on Wednesday 1st November, 09:30am-1pm

In November 2023, Community Southwark will deliver hands-on funding application support to charities in Southwark.

This programme will consist of one workshop in which participating organisations will build a case for support. It will also include a 1-to-1 support session where a member of Community Southwark staff will work with a local registered charity to apply to the Merchant Taylor’s Foundation Small Grants Programme. Merchant Taylors are also funding this programme. This is part of how we can address challenges raised in our State of the Sector report.

Only registered charities based in Southwark, or serving Southwark residents, are eligible for this grant. If you are not part of a registered charity, we do encourage you to fill in the form anyway. This data will be used to explore widening the eligibility criteria with the funder.

You can fill in an Expression of Interest form by clicking HERE.
Deadline: 16/10/2023

By the end of the programme, VCS groups will gain insight on how to demonstrate your work has an impact on making positive changes in the borough, and walk away with a completed application form that can act as a template when applying for future funding.
