About the volunteer role and Burgess Sports

This volunteer opportunity includes the planning and organisation of events to promote the organisation in the local community and beyond. Burgess Sports hold holiday camps, volunteer celebration events, after school sessions and more so there is plenty to promote! Organising events to promote Burgess Sport makes the organisation more popular and can contribute in this way to an active community, inspiration for young people and a promotion of sport.

Who are they looking for?

You do not need experience in event management, but they are looking for someone who is keen on planning and organising, who enjoys special events and who can think of what it needs to promote Burgess Sports. 

What the volunteer would gain form the opportunity:

  • Increase skills in event management

  • Meet new people

  • Make a positive difference in the local community

  • Opportunity to meet other Team 100 volunteers at celebratory events

  • Team100 volunteers are supported with free kit and equipment, free training and development opportunities and events to meet new volunteers. 

Additional Information

This volunteer role might require more time and work close before an event but less, when no events are coming up.
