‘It takes a village to raise a child – this is especially true in London where we often feel alone as parents.’

ittle Village was set up to help struggling families. Child poverty is on the rise for the first time in 20 years and affects 46% of children growing up in inner London. Little Village is like a foodbank, but for clothes, toys and equipment for babies and children up to the age of 5.There is currently only one paid member of staff at our Southwark site, so our volunteers are their lifeblood. Little VIllage simply wouldn’t exist without the time and commitment they give.
