We are thrilled to announce the upcoming “You Matter to Us” event, a day dedicated to combatting loneliness and isolation among the elderly.
This open day will take place at ElimHouse, on Monday, 21st October 2024. from 10.30 am – 12.30 am.
We have a lineup of speakers from Councillor David Parton, Southwark Heritage, NHS Health Checks, Bizzy Fitness, Natalie’s Nail Salon, Dementia Board games with Tayo, and a sing-along with the staff of ElimHouse.
ElimHouse, known for its unwavering commitment to the elderly, especially within the Caribbean community, has been a cornerstone of South East London since 1980. With over three decades of service, ElimHouse provides a range of activities and support, ensuring that our older generations are not only looked after but are also given the opportunity to thrive in a nurturing environment.
The “You Matter to Us” event is an extension of ElimHouse’s ethos, where every individual is valued and celebrated. The day will be filled with engaging activities, heartwarming interactions, and a showcase of the services that make ElimHouse a home away from home for many.
Doors will open at the welcoming location of 86 Bellenden Road, London SE15 4RQ, where guests can expect a warm reception and a day packed with positivity and community spirit.
