Southwark Celebrates Windrush Family Day

Praying for a sunny day – to enjoy sound system music, steel pan, drumming, heritage quadrille dance, spoken word, tributes to Sam King, Windrush pioneer and first Black Mayor of Southwark, as well as Dr. Harold Moody, pre-Empire Windrush community and medical pioneer. Plus, stalls selling food, health products, books, etc.
Bring your picnic rug, flag and dress in your national colours or in Windrush style!
