As trustees we’re always looking for skilled people to join our ranks – but how do you work out which skills you really need, and where do you go to find them?

Part of NCVO’s celebration of Trustees’ Week, this session features Ian Joseph from Trustees Unlimited, who will help you identify these skills and offer practical advice on how to find the right people to join you.

  • understand how to identify skill gaps in your board
  • know where to look for skilled individuals to join your board.

About the trainer

This webinar will be led by Ian Joseph, managing director of Trustees Unlimited.

Ian serves as chair of Kidscape, the national anti-bullying charity, and has served as an interim board director of Avaaz, a $30m US-based not-for-profit organisation that promotes global activism in areas including climate change, human rights, and corruption. He’s also the founding director and a trustee of the Olympic legacy charity Cyclopark – one of the premier cycling facilities in Europe.
