The Southwark Pioneers Fund: Launchpad, funded by Southwark Council, provides free, practical information, advice and support to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs living and working in Southwark.
The programme supports small business owners, and anyone with a business idea, to reach their full potential as a start-up entrepreneur – and this includes social and not-for-profit businesses, such as CICs.
They actively encourage women, marginalised genders, people from ethnic minority backgrounds, young people, senior citizens and people with disabilities to apply.
To help you find out more about the programme and what’s available, they are running a series of community-based Open Day Events.
Each Open Day will run as a drop-in session offering information, advice and guidance on self-employment and entrepreneurship; this will also give you the option to talk privately to one of their staff members about your business concept. Please note there is a maximum capacity of 35 people per session, so don’t hesitate to sign up and grab your place!
