A guided walk through Rotherhithe, focussing on historic Mayflower sailing, by the founder of Brunel Museum, Robert Hulse

A guided walk through Rotherhithe, focussing on the historic Mayflower sailing, led by Robert Hulse – the founder of Brunel Museum, in partnership with London Walks. The walk will start promptly from noon and attendees are asked to assemble INSIDE Canada Water Library, using the entrance on the Plaza. Dates are noon on 17th July and at noon on 31st July. 

Places of interest on the walk include: Canada Water Library records and chronicles, Deal Porter Statue at Canada Dock, the Norwegian, Finnish and Gathered Churches, Watch House and Cells, Mayflower Street, St Mary’s Churchyard, St Mary’s Church, The Thames Tunnel, The Pilgrim Statue and Massasoit of the Wampanoag, and the Mayflower pub where the walk will end
