Pro Bono event for selected VCS groups – Impactathon by ZS Associates

ZS Associates, is hosting an Impactathon event in their London office (with the option to join via Zoom) on Friday 6th October, from 12.30pm – 6pm with lunch and an afternoon networking event included.

 

What is an Impactathon?

  • You can read more in the attached ZS Cares Impactathon_Brochure but in short: it is an event where charity organisations and ZS Consultants come together (in ZS’ London office or virtually via Zoom) to collaborate and help you dissect problem(s) your organisation is facing, with the end goal being for you to leave with a sense of direction, inspiration and ideas to take forward and increase your impact
  • It is an opportunity for you to learn from and network with ZS Consultants who specialize in solving complex business problems
  • You will also get the chance to interact with and learn from other charity members of the Community Southwark network

Who are ZS?

  • ZS is a management consulting and technology firm that works side by side with companies to help drive customer value and solve their business challenges. They do this by bringing a business approach to many different areas.
  • The team is full of passionate people who embrace innovative thinking and collaboration to drive impact with clients and also our corporate social responsibility initiative; ZS Cares.
  • ZS has been partnering with Community Southwark for 5 years, working with many charity partners on pro-bono projects, fundraising, mentoring and volunteering – helping maximize their impact within the community

How do I sign-up and/or find out more?

  • The attached brochure includes everything you need to know about the event including: how to sign-up, what’s involved, the agenda and types of problems ZS can help you with
  • If you would like to join the event, please fill out this survey by Monday 11th September.
  • Please ensure you provide as much detail as possible and select the support you require based on what will improve your organisations services the most within the next few months.
  • Limited spaces are available, and organisations will be selected based on who aligns within the chosen priority areas (as stated in the survey) and where we can make the most impact within the limited time frame.

After you sign-up:

  • The ZS team will assess if they can help with the challenge you outlined in the survey
  • You will be assigned a team of 3-4 consultants and they will be matched to you based on their skills/expertise areas, to ensure you get the support needed
  • Your team will schedule a meeting with you ahead of the event to:
    • Get to know you
    • Get to know your organisation
    • Understand your challenge(s)
    • Formulate a plan of how you can make the most of your time together

  • Service audit (saving time/labor, workforce transformation)

  • Fundraising (bid-writing, working with donors)
  • Different forms of fundraising i.e. crowdfunding, regular giving)
