Run by Tree Shepherd, a charity that supports people to set up and run their own businesses, this event is suitable for traditional companies, sole traders and social enterprises, including CICs.
To help mitigate the difficult situation many small businesses find themselves in, Southwark Council have created initiatives which can help your business grow and thrive, and have also been developing plans for Peckham’s future. They want to hear from businesses so that you can shape their plans for Peckham’s future. Lunch will be provided.
The agenda is as follows:
1. Introduction and overview of Peckham Town Centre ambitions from Councillor Martin Seaton, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Business and Town Centres
2. Peckham Business Forum presentation by Tree Shepherd
3. Vision for Peckham’s future – local business discussion
4. Outline of council business support services for businesses including:
a. Southwark Pioneers Fund
b. Southwark Works
c. Thriving High Streets Fund
d. Apprenticeships
5. Business networking opportunity
The event will take place on the 3rd floor of Mountview, in the Peckham room.
