Peckham Area Character Study

We will be creating an up-to-date area character study in Peckham. This study will look at the buildings, spaces and places in Peckham. It will look at what makes the different areas in Peckham distinctive. It will look at what is working well in the design of the areas and what is not.

The study will inform the priorities for the area. It will help us make decisions about the area about we should protect, and what we should try to change.

We want the study to reflect the views of the people who live, work in and visit Peckham.

Before we start on the study, we want to have a conversation with members of the community in Peckham. We will explain the approach we have taken for past area character studies. We want to hear people’s thoughts on this approach. We want to hear whether we should do anything differently.

This conversation will be taking place at 7pm on Tuesday 16 May at Peckham Levels 95A Rye Lane London SE15 4ST. There will also be the option for attendees to attend virtually via Microsoft Teams. A link will be shared closer to the time.
