In 2023 the NCS (National Citizen Service) will, for the first time, be awarding grants to local organisations delivering community-based experiences at a grassroots level.
They are running a number of information sessions for potential applications to learn about the criteria and application process, whilst also opening up the conversation allowing you to help us shape some of their plans.
You can also catch up with their initial information session via the recording and slides below:

Grant programmes
- Open to All Grants:These year-round grants are for regularly scheduled programmes that are embedded in young people’s local communities, with structure and support from NCS Trust, but locally tailored by you, the grantee. Grants to deliver Open to All programmes are available across all regions and the grant amount will be based on the number of young people between the defined age range in those regions.
- Targeted Grants: These grants may be given for scaling your existing intervention, or trialling a new innovation, with targeted groups of young people. They will offer a variety of larger and smaller grants, creating opportunities for national or regional organisations, alongside small grassroots organisations.
