On 1 July, a new Integrated Care Board will bring together partners from across health and care organisations in south east London, with responsibility for allocating resources and planning and overseeing local health and care services.
One of the most important tasks up until April 2023 will be to support the development of a strategy for the South East London Integrated Care System, and a five-year system plan to deliver this strategy. The new ICS is excited about the chance to develop an effective strategy and plan, focusing on the new opportunities, for everyone to work together on major cross-system challenges.
You are invited to join an online discussion with ICS staff, local people living in south east London and people working in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to start the discussion on the ICS strategy and plan. They want to hear from you:
- what do you think are the big opportunities and challenges from our system?
- where, by working as a system, could they have the greatest impact?
- they also want to understand what we might need to do differently as a system to make faster progress on longstanding issues.
This is just the start of an ongoing discussion on the ICS strategy and plan, so if you cannot attend this webinar there will be further opportunities for you to get involved including on Let’s Talk Health and Care South East London and further community engagement opportunities.
There is another identical session running Monday 25 July, 5-7pm.
