Good governance is vital for an effective, sustainable, fundable organisation – regardless of your legal structure.
This session is designed to help you put your organisation on the right footing for growth and stability. This is specifically for organisations who often face the challenge of myths held by some funders and public authorities that they are more likely to have poor governance, and therefore they have less confidence in investing in their organisation.
This event follows up from our last governance training event in June, further exploring some of the themes covered, but it is also open to groups who are new to this topic.
This workshop will focus on:
- What is governance?
- Why does governance matter and to who?
- Why is governance such a hot topic?
- How to create Good Governance for your organisation
This workshop will include plenty of interactive activities, a definition of governance, case studies and a checklist on creating better governance within your organisation which you can start to use immediately after your the workshop has finished.
Spaces for the workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 organisations (1 place for each organisation) and will be allocated on a first come first served basis – early booking is recommended.
