The Haberdasher’s Company is one of the Great Twelve Livery Companies and has a long history closely connected to the development of the City of London.
They offer funding for small charities in specific locations, linked to their historic associations with schools and churches, which includes the boroughs of Southwark and Lewisham.
Funding is available to registered charities that are helping:
- unemployed, homeless, ex-offenders and those at risk of offending to find jobs or improve their education or skills and to find more stable accommodation.
- excluded, disadvantaged or at risk young people to address their challenges.
- the elderly, disabled or chronically sick (and their carers) in combating loneliness and social isolation.
Grants of up to £3,000 are available, with applications open from 9 January until 3 March 2023.

- What sort of projects costs they are looking to support
- Who they want to hear from
- How you can apply
- How you can maximise your chance of success
You will also have a chance to ask your questions, and network with other organisations.
