Team London Bridge are running a small grants programme supporting community-based projects local to London Bridge – find out more here!

The Building Communities Fund from Team London Bridge is a great opportunity to get support from a key local Southwark funder.

This fund will provide small grants (between £500 and £3000) to groups doing work in the community, especially those taking place locally to London Bridge or in neighbouring areas.

This session will provide more information about:

  • What kinds of organisations can apply
  • What kinds of projects and work will be prioritised
  • How you can apply
  • How to maximise your chance of success

You will also have a chance to ask your questions, and network with other organisations.

If you are unable to attend, but have a question you would like to ask, please let us know at info@communitysouthwark.org.

About the Fund

Team London Bridge are the Business Improvement District for the London Bridge area. You can find out more about the organisation on their website.

Successful applications will be doing work in at least one of the following priority areas:

  • creativity, arts and physical wellbeing
  • nature and sustainability
  • employment, learning and upskilling

As well as funding, the fund also provides successful applicants with:

  • Connections to our business network
  • One day free use of our events and meeting room, London Bridge Hive
  • Access to staff upskilling, training and events

To apply, the deadline is 12pm (midday) on Monday 18th March.

The work funded must have a positive impact on Southwark residents (a minimum 70% of participants must live in the borough), particularly in the London Bridge area. Organisations must be a registered charity, a Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) or another asset-locked group such as a CIC. They particularly encourage applications from black and minority ethnic groups.

If you can’t make it for this event, there’s lots more information about this fund on the Team London Bridge website.

Community Southwark membership

This event is open to Community Southwark members only. Any organisation or individual living or delivering work in Southwark can become a member for free, and registration is quick and simple on our website.
