Bold Tendencies Free Creative Learning Programme July Events
Inspired by the rich variety of subjects, materials and voices in the 2023 season, our offerings, all free – including Backstage Pass, Community Tickets and Public Rehearsals, strive to mitigate barriers, allowing space to imagine, create, and exercise the right to joy and appreciation of the arts.
As part of the Creative Learning Programme, Bold Tendencies are hosting Backstage Pass sessions – an opportunity to have behind the scenes access to world-class artists working across the disciplines of live performance: music, spoken word, opera and dance.
They are a unique opportunity to get a deeper understanding and insight into the journey, ideas and lived experience of selected performers.
In the face of crisis, creativity becomes a lifeline – a means of disrupting, re-imagining and seeing beyond catastrophe. We invite and welcome local communities and constituents to experience the transformative capacities of live performance: to contribute to the dialogue, and participate in the generation of ideas.
