Join the National Academy for Social Prescribing for a look at the links between financial wellbeing and social prescribing, and the climate for both has changed.

There’s a really close relationship between hardship and mental health, and financial worries can affect every aspect of our lives, including our wider physical health and well-being. As we enter winter, and the cost of living crisis intensifies, social prescribing can play a part in helping keep communities afloat.

This webinar will offer tips and advice on how to talk money with your users and how social prescribing can support them during periods of hardship. Speakers include:

  • Sarah Murphy, a Senior Health, Social Care and Welfare Systems Strategy Lead for the Money And Pension Service
  • Damon Gibbons (Executive Director for the Centre for Responsible Credit) in his role as Project Lead for the Financial Shield pilot.
  • We will also be hearing examples of how these projects impact communities, from Link Workers and Social and Financial Advice Link Workers.
