This cyber security awareness training will increase your knowledge and understanding of cyber security risks and how to mitigate them in your organisation. This training will provide you with simple and effective strategies to preventing cyber-crime, and increase your confidence to challenge when something doesn’t look right.

- Why it’s important
- Different types of security vulnerabilities out there (technical/non-technical)
- Social Engineering
- Strong passwords and their importance
- Ishings (Spear Phishing, Vishing, Email Phishing and Smishing)
- Social media and what you put out there
- Keeping devices up to date
- Ransomware
- Local Grown Attacks and The Impact
The training is aimed at those with little or no cyber security or technical knowledge and is delivered in short, succinct modules using real world examples.
Learning outcomes
By the end of this course you will:
- Understand the importance of cyber security in protecting your organisation’s data, systems and reputation from cyber threats.
- Understand the different types of security vulnerabilities, both technical and non-technical, and how to mitigate the risks associated with them.
- Learn how to create strong, unique passwords, implement effective password management strategies, and avoid common password mistakes that could lead to security breaches.
