If you’re a Black and Minority Ethnic led community (BME) organisation, your services are for people from Black and ethnic minority communities and your serious about making it easier to develop your organisation, then join the BME -led community organisations circle, every fortnight for 90 minutes where you can achieve more than you ever thought you could.

This is the final session of our 4 part BME Charity Circle series . Find out how you can put funders minds at ease that you can manage your money whilst making sure that the funder stays focused on the “actual” project you want to deliver.

The session will provide you with some great tips on how you can put funders minds at ease.

This session will help you to understand

  • What finance is about
  • The difference between financal management and financial planning
  • The basics of finacial management systems you need to manage your finances
  • The basics of finacial planning sytstems you need to manage your finances
  • What and why it is important for all your tustees to have a good undersatding of the principles of finance
  • The thinking behind why some funders think that BME led groups cannot manage substantial amounts of money .
