Southwark is a Borough of Sanctuary for refugees and asylum seekers, meaning people arrive in a place that strives to make them feel welcome and safe.
A group of community organisations is collaborating with each other, the Council and local funders to keep frontline services going and build strength through unity during this challenging time. There is some limited funding for the following types of groups:
- Are you a community organisation supporting asylum seekers and refugees?
- Do you support them through structured legal and/or housing advice?
- Have you delivered in Southwark for more than two years?
