This October half-term, RJ4All (Restorative Justice For All) is hosting a range of free and fun activities for young people with SEND and their families. Through our series of workshops, supported by Southwark Council’s Targeted Short Breaks, we are excited to offer you an opportunity to explore music, dance, and drama in a welcoming and accessible space.
Workshop One: Music 4 All
Date: 28th October
Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm
The first workshop, Music 4 All, will provide a fun opportunity to try various instruments, learn basic techniques, and create music as a group. Join us to connect and get creative together! The session will be led by Ruby, a SEND worker who enjoys delivering specialized music workshops. It will be supported by other SEND workers and volunteers.
Workshop Two: Dance For All
Date: 30th October
Time: 12:30pm-3:30pm
This workshop will be led by Synergy Dance – an award-winning company who bring fun, fit-for-purpose dance, yoga and fitness activities for all ages including mainstream, the disability community, the elderly and Special Educational Needs (SEN) communities. Three hours is a long time to dance so, of course, this session will have plenty of brakes and a mixture of active and more calm activities.
Workshop Three: Drama 4 All
Date: 31st October
Time: 12:30-15:30pm
In Drama 4 All you will explore creative storytelling methods through drama and role-playing, enhancing our imaginations and building confidence in a supportive environment. The leaders for this activity are tbc and will be updated on the booking link as soon as possible.
For all sessions, RJ4ALL aims for an average 3:1 support worker-child ratio, with the possibility of more targeted support please get in touch with Becca at r.funnell@rj4all.org with questions.
