Cost of Living Fund – Update from Community Pathway Referral Team

Thank you to all the Voluntary Community  Groups who became referrers to help Southwark residents access the ‘Cost-of-Living Fund’.

Collectively you have all made 11,000 referrals to date! Thank you for your commitment and dedication in ensuring those in need get an extra little bit of help during these difficult times.

The fund will now soon be coming to an end. Southwark Council are encouraging residents to now self-refer either by completing their online form or phone them on  020 7525 2434.

“This is an extraordinary success and one in which Community Southwark has played a very important role.  A new milestone was reached… when the Council received more than five hundred referrals from more than twenty different partners in a single day.  By last Friday, almost eleven thousand referrals in all had been received from more than fifty partners – the majority of which were engaged as partners with your support.”

Remember Southwark residents who facing a crisis can still access the Southwark Emergency Support Scheme (SESS)
