This year we had our Team Away Day at the fabulous Brunel Museum
Brunel Museum organised a unique private tour with one of their knowledgeable and humourous volunteer who shared insight on the history of the Rotherhithe tunnel.
We learned the tunnel’s development pioneered new engineering methods to create the tunnels we are familiar with today.
Our Team Away Day consisted of a range of activities from reviewing our ‘Values’, ‘Vision’ and ‘Mission’…
As well as fun team bonding activities.
We had an incredible lunch from a local Southwark caterer who also does amazing work in opening up job opportunities for young people. This includes working with individuals who may have a Special Educational Needs Disability (SEND) background through training to obtain City and Guilds Level 2 professional cookery qualification, Food Hygiene courses as well as budget cooking classes for the wider community. Bermondsey Community Kitchen also provided free meals to vulnerable residents during the pandemic and more recently during winter months due to the cost of living crisis.
