This week, we celebrated Southwark Community Health Ambassadors and all they have accomplished over the past 12 months.
Ambassadors are the trusted voices of communities, equipped with sharing information and signposting residents to support.
Ambassadors have been extremely hard-working, caring, considerate and not given up from one crisis to another. We cannot express enough thanks to them for their commitment and for all that they have done to support Southwark communities to improve their health.
Thank you to Appleby Blue Almshouse for hosting us and getting us in the festive spirit!
Passionate about improving health and well-being in your community Join the Community Health Ambassadors Network. It’s a volunteer role open to anyone living or working in Southwark. Read more about the role and signing up here.
The event featured a lovely holiday stamp-making workshop led by Dulwich Picture Gallery, dedication awards, and delicious Caribbean food from Cadien Green.
