Community Catalysts CIC is a busy, buzzy social enterprise that tries hard to live up to its name. We’re working in partnership with the City of Westminster Council and need two energetic, and imaginative people to coordinate things for us.
We are looking for two Catalysts who will lead the City of Westminster Community Micro-enterprise Project. You will find and mentor local people and community organisations, helping them to create new enterprises. Services offered by the enterprises will have a focus on wellbeing for local people, enabling more people to live active, healthy, happy lives within their community with improved choice and control.
To do this job you must:
Understand the world of care – but maybe feel it could do with a bit of a shake up!
Be a real people person – able to work well with all sorts of folks with confidence.
Instinctively make connections – and join up dots that are sometimes less than obvious.
Be able to spot what people are good at and nurture it.
Have a look at our website and the job description and person specification for more information about us and the job. You will be employed by Community Catalysts and based in the City of Westminster area, the project will have a focus on developing a wider choice of care and support services for people with learning disabilities, autistic people, older people and people living with dementia.
If you have any specific questions or would like to talk about the role contact: Jill Wighton, Director of Business Operations, jill.wighton@communitycatalysts.co.uk.
Closing date for applications is on 6th November at 5.00pm and interviews will take place on 14th November 2023 in the City of Westminster.
We welcome applications from people from all sections of the community.
