In 2023, an Older Adults Food Insecurity Needs Assessment highlighted gaps in services and made recommendations that followed included introducing malnutrition screening and nutrition training for VCS organisations.
The council is proposing to develop a training project co-designed with members of the Older People’s Network. The council is therefore inviting members to join a working group, and are looking for up to 4 members to join. Members of the group will reimbursed for their time committed to meeting with the council officer and co-design sessions with prospective provider. Members of each organisation will be reimbursed £50.00 per meeting/session (each session to last approximately 1-2 hours).
