Children & Young People Services Funding Opportunity

Partnership Southwark has funding available for local organisations delivering social prescribing support in the borough through an £8,000 funding pot.

The funding aims to help develop Children & Young People’s (CYP) social prescribing in Southwark, with a focus on organisations that provide CYP community support which a CYP Social Prescriber Link Worker could refer Southwark’s CYP cohort to.

Flexible funding, for example, the funding could be used to test a new project or increase capacity of an existing service, pay for facilitators or cover energy costs.

They are particularly interested in bids that work with specific CYP communities that are currently underserved or where there are gaps in provision.

Eligibility criteria:

  • A not-for-profit organisation (including unincorporated groups, CICs, CIOs and more), who are primarily providing services for children and young people operating in Southwark.
  • Bids are welcome from all organisations that provide services for Children and Young People. However, bids focusing on 16 – 18-year-olds (transitional age cohort), mental health, CYP wellbeing activities/groups and autism/learning disabilities will be prioritised. This is due to the recognised limited service provision for these cohorts in Southwark.

For further information and to apply, please download the bid invitation here.

The deadline for applications is the 29th July 2023.
